Senses Fail Tacoma Concert reviews
Good game, Tampa Sports Authority is disorganized
Though Panama triumphed over USA, the match was remarkably thrilling. Seeing Canada play first in a double-header really enhanced the excitement. I have to point out, however, that Raymond James Stadium ("RayJay") is one of the few venues in Tampa capable of accommodating nearly 30,000 soccer fans. Nevertheless, the Tampa Sports Authority (TSA) needs to improve its planning for future international soccer events, particularly regarding parking arrangements.
There were minimal temporary traffic signs and insufficient personnel guiding attendees to non-reserved parking areas. Despite arriving early, we witnessed numerous vehicles struggling to navigate Dale Mabry Blvd in search of parking. The lack of direction in the parking lots led to further delays. I must commend the Tampa Police Department for their efforts in assisting with parking and traffic control, as they were notably more visible than TSA staff.
Compared to venues like the Trop or Ford Amphitheatre, where parking is well-organized and seamless, the TSA's handling of the event was unprofessional. It seemed as though they were unprepared for a soccer match at their largest venue, possibly due to the off-NFL season. However, the overall experience was positive, with the games themselves being enjoyable.
